In honor of National Disabilities Awareness Month and Music in Our Schools Month, join author Shannon Stocker in a read aloud of her book, LISTEN: HOW EVELYN GLENNIE, A DEAF GIRL, CHANGED PERCUSSION with a special American Sign Language interpretation from Cassidy Robertson.
Then get creative with illustrator Devon Holzwarth as she brings music to paper by showing viewers how to draw an instrument that can ‘sing in your hands’ and how sound and rhythm can be illustrated through colors, patterns, and textures.
